Three ways: take photos of individual items, paste product links from online stores, or forward purchase receipts. Elara reads the details automatically — brand, color, category — so you don't have to tag anything manually. The more you add, the better the outfits.

Every like, save, and wear feeds back into your style graph so the next suggestion is sharper.

The style graph is Elara's per-user taste fingerprint — a model built entirely from your interactions. Every outfit decision you make (like, dislike, save, wear) trains it. Over time it learns not just what you like but why you like it. No two style graphs are the same, and yours only gets sharper — never reset.

Yes — but only when your wardrobe has a real gap. If you describe an occasion and your closet doesn't quite cover it, Elara will surface shoppable picks that complement what you already own. Suggestions come from partner brand catalogs and are matched to your style profile, not broad search results.

What is virtual try-on?

Virtual try-on lets you preview how an outfit looks before you commit to wearing it or buying it. Tap "Try On" on any outfit suggestion and Elara renders a preview on your photo or an avatar. It costs 2 credits per try-on session.

Can I plan outfits for trips or events ahead of time?

Yes. The Planner lets you attach outfits to calendar events — a conference, a wedding, a 5-day trip. Elara can build a packing list from your wardrobe and plan day-by-day looks, taking weather and occasion into account. No more overpacking or forgetting something obvious.

Credits are how Elara measures usage. Each action costs a small number — style chat (1 credit), wardrobe outfit (4), shopping outfit (5), outfit modification (3), virtual try-on (2), wardrobe upload (free). Your plan includes a monthly allowance that refreshes each billing cycle. You can also top up at any time.

Do unused credits roll over?

On paid plans, yes — a portion of unused credits carries into the next month. Style rolls over 10%, Pro 20%, Elite 30%. Free plan credits do not roll over. Rolled-over credits are used first in your next cycle.

Where do I pay for my subscription?

All subscriptions and credit top-ups are purchased through joinelara.com — not inside the iOS app. This lets us pass the savings directly to you instead of paying Apple's in-app fees. Your plan syncs automatically to the app after purchase.

Is my wardrobe data private?

Yes. Your wardrobe photos, style preferences, and usage data are private to your account. Elara uses this data only to power your own recommendations — it is never sold to third parties. You can export or delete your data at any time from the Privacy & Security section of your profile.

Does Elara share my data with brands?

No personally identifiable data is shared with brands. When Elara surfaces a product from a partner catalog, we may share aggregated, anonymised signals — never your name, account, or wardrobe contents.

Can I delete my account and data?

Accepted Answer

Yes, anytime. Go to Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account. This permanently removes your wardrobe, style profile, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

Does Elara push me to buy things?

Accepted Answer

No. Elara's default is your existing wardrobe. Shopping suggestions only appear when you ask for them or when a specific gap in your closet makes a look incomplete. We optimise for you — not for inventory.

Can I tell Elara what I don't like?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Swipe left, tap dislike, or just say "no high heels" or "nothing with logos." Negative preferences are stored and respected — Elara won't suggest those items again unless you ask it to reconsider.

How does Elara earn money from shopping recommendations?

When you buy something Elara suggested, we may earn an affiliate commission from the brand — typically 5–15% of the sale. This never affects which products Elara recommends: the style graph ranks items by fit for you, not by commission rate.
