How do I upload my wardrobe?

Three ways: take photos of individual/multiple items, paste product links from online stores, or forward purchase receipts. Elara reads the details automatically - brand, color, category - so you don't have to tag anything manually. The more you add, the better the outfits.

Each suggestion comes with a reason: why the pieces work together, why they fit the occasion. You can save looks, swap items, or ask for something entirely different. Every like, save, and wear feeds back into your style graph so the next suggestion is sharper.

Over time it learns not just what you like but why you like it. No two style graphs are the same, and yours only gets sharper - never reset.

Yes - but only when your wardrobe has a real gap. If you describe an occasion and your closet doesn't quite cover it, Elara will surface shoppable picks that complement what you already own. Suggestions come from partner brand catalogs and are matched to your style profile, not broad search results.

Virtual try-on lets you preview how an outfit looks before you commit to wearing it or buying it. Tap "Try On" on any outfit suggestion and Elara renders a preview on your photo or an avatar. It costs 2 credits per try-on session.

Yes. The Planner lets you attach outfits to calendar events - a conference, a wedding, a 5-day trip. Elara can build a packing list from your wardrobe and plan day-by-day looks, taking weather and occasion into account. No more overpacking or forgetting something obvious.

Credits are how Elara measures usage. Each action costs a small number: product search (1 credit), closet outfit (2 credits), hybrid outfit (3 credits), shopping outfit (3 credits), wardrobe upload (1 credit), virtual try-on (2 credits), voice (1 credit), and email receipt processing (4 credits). Your plan includes a monthly allowance that refreshes each billing cycle, and you can top up at any time.

Everyone gets 200 credits free every month, and you can top up additional credits at any time. If you need a larger monthly allowance, we offer three premium plans:

Style ($9.99/mo · 500 credits · rollover), Pro ($19.99/mo · 1,300 credits · rollover), and Elite ($49.99/mo · 3,500 credits · rollover).

Do unused credits roll over?

On paid plans, yes - unused credits carry over into the next month. Free plan credits do not roll over. Rolled-over credits are used first in your next cycle.

Yes. Your wardrobe photos, style preferences, and usage data are private to your account. Elara uses this data only to power your own recommendations - it is never sold to third parties. You can export or delete your data at any time from the Privacy & Security section of your profile.

No personally identifiable data is shared with brands. When Elara surfaces a product from a partner catalog, we may share aggregated, anonymised signals - never your name, account, or wardrobe contents.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes, anytime. Go to Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account. This permanently removes your wardrobe, style profile, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

Does Elara push me to buy things?

No. Elara's default is your existing wardrobe. Shopping suggestions only appear when you ask for them or when a specific gap in your closet makes a look incomplete. We optimise for you - not for inventory.

Absolutely. Swipe left, tap dislike, or just say "no high heels" or "nothing with logos." Negative preferences are stored and respected - Elara won't suggest those items again unless you ask it to reconsider.

Yes. Elara syncs with your live inventory via Shopify webhooks in real time. Out-of-stock products are automatically excluded from recommendations. Any product you add, update, or remove syncs within minutes.

Elara uses a conservative session-based methodology. A session is only counted as Elara-assisted if the shopper opened the widget, submitted a query, and completed a purchase in the same session. This intentionally undercounts Elara's influence rather than overclaiming it. Every attributed session is visible and auditable in your dashboard.
